Today we’re looking at ODE Solenoid Valve Addons. I’m very excited to present this, as ODE has been around in the industry for over 65 years, and ODE is second to none with their features and addons. You can start with a standard valve and build as you need it, and how you need it.

We are looking at the 21W series for our examples today. This valve comes in a variety of features and addons. This first one offers you the manual override and also speed control, which can be adjusted where you see fit.

A variety of coils can be selected with different voltages. All our coils are CSA and UL approved. We can swap a 12 volt DC for a 24 volt DC or 24 volt AC, 110 AC or even 220 AC. You can use any of these coils for this valve family. You can mix and match depending on any voltage required for your configuration.

You can simply put any coil on top and add a DIN connector with an 18 inch lead, and have it mounted it on. DIN connectors are available as a stand alone. This is very easy to use and add on to the coil.

We also have the conduit type, as well as the LED and explosion proof connections.

Moving away from manual override and our speed-controlled valve, this family also has a progressive closing normally open option from 3/8″ up to 3″.

Any ODE solenoid valve normally open will have groove lines. This way you for sure it’s a normally open valve.

You will also see a series of numbers on the side. The engraving will tell you that a valve may be progressive closing.

ODE also specializes in low voltage valves, in which a 5 watt coil is used. In some cases, you do not need that much draw in your configuration.

The IP67 kit is an addon that can be offered and used, if you require your valve to be submerged into water or in a washed-on application.
